The Nexus has been selling out rapidly online with many brick and mortar stores also reporting not in stock. Google has under estimated the demand although the pre-orders would have been a good indicator. Sources speaking to the Guardian newspaper have said that Google thought most people would be using its cloud services to keep their content online and so would more likely to buy the 8GB version of the Nexus. But since the storage of the device cannot be upgraded most people decided to purchase the 16GB instead. (more…)
