It was announced at a press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, the Xbox One will go on sale November priced at $499. It will also be available in 20 other countries. This new Xbox comes 7 years after the Xbox 360. During the 2 hour press event, Microsoft said that the Halo , Gears of War and Fable titles will be Xbox only, plus other games were also mentioned, including:- Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Quantum Break, Ryse –  Son of Rome, Project Spark and Forza 5. Later today Sony too said that its new console, the Play Station 4, will be released in time for the Christmas holiday season, but priced cheaper than the Xbox at $399.

Both consoles are very well matched in hardware terms, Blu-ray, Built-in 500GB Hard Drive, Motion Controllers, CPU 8-core x86 AMD processor, USB 3.0, Wirles 802.11n, Ethernet and HDMI. The biggest difference is with the Xbox One has 8GB of DDR3 memory, while the PS4 has 8GB of DDR5 installed thereby we could expect the PS4 to slightly beat the Xbox on the graphical display front.
